The Queen of Women's Singles Tai Tzu Ying reached her fourth All-England final in a row. The tournament is one of the most prestigious badminton events around the world. The Queen won the title for the third time during the last four years.

In the final Tai Tzu Ying faced the current world number one Chen Yu Fei and wanted to take back her title after losing it to Chen Yu Fei last year. The opening game was a head-to-head competition as everyone expected. Tai Tzu Ying took her first game point and won the first game with 21:19. In the second game she had a good run and both players showed high class badminton but at this day the Queen was too strong for her opponent and finally claimed her third All England title after 2018.

Anders Antonsen retired at 16:13 because of an ankle-injury. Lee Yang and his partner Wang Chi Lin lost against the first-seeded pair from Indonesia in two straight games.
