Tai Tzu Ying took the first World Tour title at Indonesia Masters

Tai Tzu Ying, the No. 1 in Women’s Singles, earned the first World Tour champion title 2018 at the Indonesia Masters on Sunday. It was her second straight finals appearance in this year.

The queen faced Indian Saina Nehwal in finals. She had recently won two times in a row against Nehwal. Tai was on fire in the finals, and it took her just 27 minutes to take the crown, resulting in a 21-9, 21-13.

But it was not only Tai who did a great performance. After his unfortunate first round exit at the Malaysia Masters, Korean Men’s Singles Son Wan Ho reached semifinals at Jakarta.

Korean Women’s Double Lee So Hee/Shin Seung Chan and Malaysian Mixed Double Goh Soon Huat/Shevon Jamie Lai are the pairs that show a constantly good form this season. Both of them reached semifinals at Malaysia Masters and Indonesia Masters respectively.
